Fredgy Noël is a Haitian-American director and writer. Having learned English from watching MTV as a child, Noël would later begin her television career there in the On-Air Promotions Department. The lessons she absorbed about how image, rhythm, and emotion can move culture now shape her voice as a filmmaker.. Her work lives at the intersection of humor and heartbreak. Her films celebrate women who refuse to disappear and the beauty found in life’s contradictions. Rooted in the inner worlds of complex women, her storytelling weaves visual poetry with emotional precision. She has since collaborated with brands like Doc Martens, Jergens, and NBCUniversal. Her work has been recognized with a Clio Bronze, a Promax Gold, and screenings at Tribeca, BFI, Outfest, DOC NYC, and The Museum of the City of New York. Raised between D.C. and Miami, she now calls New York City home, where she is pursuing her MFA at NYU’s Graduate Film Program.
